Options

All year 9 students during November and December are being introduced to the Options we have on Offer for their GCSE’s 2024-2026. Please start to discuss with your son or daughter which options they would like to choose and encourage them to speak to the teachers who teach them. We have a parents evening on the 25th January 2024 and an Options Evening on the 18th January 2024 giving you chance to inform their decisions. 

The options booklet will be available on line soon, last years is still available on the school website which is very similar to the new booklet. 

Once the options have been chosen the time tabling and staffing are finalised to accommodate the students’ choices. At this point any changes are almost impossible to make. Therefore, it is very important that you are fully engaged in the options process and your child has made well informed decisions.
